Sophomore (2006-07) -- Little played primarily at no. 1 singles for the 2007 season. She registered a 8-21 overall record and went 5-14 in the spring. In conference play, Little tallied a 2-3 mark and defeated her no. 1 counterparts from Seton Hall and Connecticut. In doubles play, Little played 20 matches with Shannon Brown at the top doubles slot where they went 10-10 overall. Little was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team for her doubles play with Brown during the tournament. The twosome went 2-0 during the tournament and defeated their counterparts from Rutgers and Louisville.
Freshman (2005-06) -- Did not see action until the spring due to injury. Tallied an overall record of 10-12. Played mostly at no. 2 singles, but also saw four matches at no. 1 singles posting a 2-3 record. Enjoyed success at the two spot going 7-8 on the season with a string of five consecutive wins from March 14 - April 1. Teamed with Beba Calbeto at no. 1 doubles to notch a 6-11 overall record, was 2-1 at no. 1 doubles when playing with Francina Bonnelly and 0-1 when playing with Erin Watkins. Went to tie-breakers in three matches and was 2-1 in those matches. Clinched the win over Pittsburgh for Marquette with a three-set thriller against Pitt in the 11th place match at the BIG EAST Conference Tournament to end the season on April 22.
Prior to Marquette -- Little earned two letters, her freshman and senior season, where she earned team MVP honors both of those seasons. Little was a Michigan State High School Champion her senior season with a 26-1 record and earned High School Tennis All-America honors that season. Little also won conference and regional titles her freshman and senior year and also was a state finalist her freshman year.
Personal -- Born January 21, 1987 in Rochester Hills, Mich., Lauren is the daughter of Christopher and Tracey Little. She is majoring in nursing.
