2021-22 Season Notes (Gr.): Finished seven points, three blocked shots and two rebounds in Marquette debut vs. SIUE (Nov. 9) … Scored nine points, blocked seven shots and grabbed five rebounds in a win over Providence (Jan. 4) … Scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds against DePaul (Jan. 11) … Chipped in six points, seven blocked shots, and three rebounds in a win over Seton Hall (Jan. 26) … Ranked third in the league in blocks (2.5 bpg.) in all games … Finished fifth in all-time season leaders with 81 blocks.
Oklahoma (2018-21): Spent three seasons at Oklahoma … In 2020-21, he contributed 5.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots per outing in 17.1 minutes per night … Sooners advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament and he started 15 of the team’s 27 outings … As a redshirt junior in 2019-20, he played in 30 games and earned one starting assignment … Was awarded a medical redshirt in 2018-19 after suffering a back injury and played in just six outings.
Salt Lake Community College (2016-18): Averaged 10.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game as a sophomore in 2017-18 … Helped the team to a 30-4 overall record and conference, region and district titles … Was named to the all-region team and earned NJCAA Third Team All-America accolades after finishing among the national leaders in blocked shots.
