Prior to Marquette: Hicks was a four-year member of the lacrosse team at Shenendehowa Central under head coach Jason Gifford … Was All-Section in 2021 … Played club lacrosse for Nike National New York in 2020 and 2021 as well as Under Armour Upstate 2021 … Also lettered for four years in ice hockey at Shenendehowa.

Personal: Hicks was born in Schenectady, New York and is the son of Jenny and Steven Hicks … Mother, Jenny played field hockey at Tufts University … Father competed in high jump at Boston University … Has two younger brothers Frederick and Everett … Plans to major in marketing … Hobbies include working on hiking the 46 highest mountains in New York.
