Major League Lacrosse All-Star Brendan Kavanagh is in his first season on the men’s lacrosse staff in 2019-20 as a volunteer assistant coach.
Kavanagh made his first MLL All-Star game as a rookie in 2019 as one of the top point producers for the Denver Outlaws. The attackman recorded 37 points over his first 13 professional contests after being drafted by the Outlaws in the 2018 supplemental draft.
The Rockville Centre, New York native wrapped up a standout career at Hofstra in the spring of 2018 with 75 points in 51 games. He recorded a career-best 29 goals and six assists as a junior in 2017 on his way to First Team All-CAA accolades.
Kavanagh attended Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, New York and earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Hofstra in 2018.
