Prior to Marquette: Thomson played lacrosse for three seasons at St. Michael’s College … Team co-captain in 2017… OFSAA Provincial Gold Medalist in 2016, 2017 and 2018 … CISAA Gold Medalist in 2016-19 … Played club for Edge Lacrosse 2020 and head coach Adam Gartner … Competed in the Inside Lacrosse Invitational in 2018 … Has former teammates playing at Cornell, Virginia and Vermont … Also played basketball and hockey at St. Mike’s.

Personal: Thomson was born in Toronto and is the son of Amanda and Tim Thomson … Third of four boys in the Thomson family … Oldest brother, Tanner, was an All-BIG EAST performer at Marquette in the class of 2019 and is currently a professional lacrosse player … Older brother, Keaton, is a Marquette lacrosse player in the class of 2021 … Has a younger brother, Finlay … Plans to major in communications.

Why Marquette? “Marquette was my first choice for a long time. I watched them grow from a young team when my brother Tanner was there. Marquette won two BIG EAST Championships and that always had me intrigued. Keaton, my other brother, also attends Marquette so that allowed me a lot of time to visit and get to know the program at a crucial time in my lacrosse future. The culture of the team, the friendships and the coaches as well as the comfort I have for Marquette made it an easy choice for me.”
