Marquette University head men's soccer coach David Korn announced the hiring of Jordan Grant as Associate Head Coach on July 6, 2026.
Grant also serves as the program's Recruiting Coordinator while playing a key role in team performance and student-athlete success. His responsibilities include coordinating the program's recruiting efforts, leading opponent scouting and tactical preparation, conducting post-match analysis, and assisting with game planning and on-field coaching with an emphasis on the team's defensive organization and out-of-possession principles. He also oversees NCAA recruiting compliance, coordinates communication with campus partners and athletics support staff, and collaborates across all areas of the program to enhance the student-athlete experience and support the overall success of Marquette Men's Soccer.
Grant arrived in Milwaukee after serving on the staff at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), where he played a pivotal role in one of the most successful stretches in program history. During his tenure, SIUE achieved the best winning percentage in Division I (.875) during the 2023 season, subsequently earning recognition as the United Soccer Coaches North Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
That season, Grant helped guide the Cougars to a historic 16-1-3 record, including an undefeated regular season and both Ohio Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships. SIUE followed up with a 12-5-3 season in 2024, claiming both the regular season and tournament championships.
Prior to his time at SIUE, Grant spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Belmont, where he contributed to 25 victories and helped the Bruins reach the Southern Conference Tournament final in each of his final two seasons. At Belmont, he was involved in all aspects of the program, including recruiting coordination, practice planning, video analysis and match preparation.
Grant also worked at Cincinnati as the Director of Operations and a volunteer assistant coach, overseeing day-to-day program operations, serving as an academic liaison and directing camps. His coaching resume also includes time as a graduate assistant at Mount Vernon Nazarene and as an assistant coach at Taylor University, where he first began his collegiate coaching career.
At the club level, Grant has extensive experience coaching within the ECNL and other elite youth environments, including roles with Tennessee Soccer Club, Cincinnati United Premier, Northern Kentucky Soccer Academy and Classics Eagles.
As a player, Grant competed collegiately at Taylor University after beginning his career at Northern Kentucky, where he was a member of the 2010 Division II national championship team. He earned his bachelor's degree from Taylor and a master's degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene, and he holds a United States Soccer Federation "C" coaching license.
