Sean Clancy will be entering his second year as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles in 2025.

Clancy started his coaching career at Maryville University before the 2019 season. In his four seasons, the Saints won a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championships while making the NCAA Tournament in every possible year. In 2022, the team won the first GLVC Regular Season Championship in program history.

Clancy spent the 2018 season as a goalkeeper of Vrigstad IF in Sweden, which is a division IV team in the club ranks. Prior to his stop overseas, he played for a year at both the University of Missouri-Kansas City and at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Clancy earned his degree in chemistry from UMKC.

Clancy, a native of St. Louis, Missouri and played his high school soccer at Rockwood Summit High School, where he graduated in 2013.
