Zach Neiberger will be entering his third year as an assistant coach for the Golden Eagles in 2026.

Neiberger also serves as the program's Director of Player Development which plays an integral role in all aspects of the Marquette men's soccer program. His responsibilities include leading individual player development, assisting with individual and team training sessions, tactical preparation, match analysis and game-day coaching. He also coordinates video analysis and supports individual student-athlete development plans. Neiberger also assists in other key areas of the program including player recruitment both domestically and abroad, and leading efforts with marketing, camp and youth soccer club engagement.

In July 2020, Neiberger was appointed as the first assistant on the St. Cloud State's inaugural coaching staff, Neiberger helped build the first NCAA DII Men's Soccer program in the state of Minnesota. In 2023, as the program's lead assistant, Neiberger helped SCSU achieve a program record in total points and conference points as the Huskies went on to host their first conference playoff game in program history.

Under Neiberger's tutelage, eight student-athletes have earned All-GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) honors in the program's first three seasons. Throughout his young club and collegiate coaching career, Neiberger helped develop three future MLS Super Draft selections.

Prior to his appointment at St. Cloud State, Neiberger spent two seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA DIII program Hamline. Neiberger has previously coached club with with Minneapolis United Soccer Club and was a Lead Coach for the MNUFC pre-academy. Originally from Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Southwest standout and prep All-American was named to the IMG Academy 150 Player Pool in 2014 as one of the top 150 players in the country per TopDrawerSoccer. Neiberger went on to play collegiately at NCAA DI programs San Diego State and UW-Milwaukee.

Neiberger earned a B.A. in Communication Studies from St. Cloud State University and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Sports Management. Neiberger holds a USSF B coaching license.
