Prior to Marquette: Wetherell was a four-year member of the Kellis High School girls soccer program under head coach Lacey Perdomo … As a junior, helped Kellis to an Arizona Christian High School Soccer Tournament Championship and was named the squad’s offensive player of the year and an all-division honorable mention with 32 goals and five assists … Posted 26 goals, including five hat tricks, with five assists as a senior … Also earned all-division honors as a freshman and sophomore .. Team MVP as a freshman (18 goals with 11 assists) and earned AIA Section V First Team honors … Scored 13 goals and four assists as a sophomore.
Personal: Wetherell is the daughter of Curt and Jill Wetherell and has two older siblings (Alexis and Madison) and one younger (Dawson) ... Attending MU's graduate program for sports leadership.
