Indoor (So.): Claimed silver at the Blue & Gold Invitational in the 60 hurdles as he crossed the finish line at 8.61 ... Landed in the top-five, at fourth place, for his 8.60 effort in the 60 hurdles.
Outdoor (So.): Only competed at the BIG EAST Championships, but placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles (15.40).

2015-16:
Indoor (Fr.): Competed in the 60-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay for the indoor season ... Set a No. 7 all-time program record, won first place and set a personal-best in the 60-meter hurdles at the John Tierney Quadrangular (8.53 seconds) ... Placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles at the Jack Jennett Invitational with a time of 8.69 seconds ... Took fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:35.01.
Outdoor (Fr.): Participated in the BIG EAST Championships in the outdoor season for 2015-16, where he recorded an eighth place finish in the 110-meter hurdles (18.63 seconds).

"Mathew had a great senior season at Saint Thomas More and will make an immediate impact in the hurdles in the BIG EAST. Mathew primarily ran the sprint hurdles in high school, but with his athleticism will see some action in the 400 hurdles and relays at MU. Mathew is an excellent student and I expect him to excel in both the classroom and on the track."

Prior to Marquette: Peter was a four-time letter winner in track and field at Saint Thomas More ... Was a three-time regional champion ... Two-time sectional champion ... Also finished second place at the state meet in 110-meter high hurdles ... Held high school personal best of 7.87 seconds in the 55-meter high hurdles and 14.57 seconds in 110-meter high hurdles, both of which are Saint Thomas More school records ... Also played soccer, swam and ran one season of cross country in high school.

Personal: Peter was born in Milwaukee to Peter and Jessy Peter ... Has one younger brother, Alan ... Plans to major in biochemistry.
