2019 (Sr.): Started all 18 games in her senior year ... Broke own single-season Marquette records in goals (59) and draw controls (119) ... Totaled 65 points on the season, with 10 free position goals on 26 attempts, 33 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers ... Tallied five goals, two of which were free position, and scooped up three ground balls against Louisville (2/10) ... Found the back of the net four times and picked up a pair of ground balls and caused turnovers in the effort against Cincinnati (2/15), while also setting a MU record for most draw controls won in a single game at 17 ... Registered six points on four goals and two assists against Detroit Mercy (2/17), while adding three ground balls and three caused turnovers to the win ... Notched a season high six goals, tying her personal best, one of which came from a free position attempt as well as two ground balls and caused turnovers against Kennesaw State (2/23) ... 2018 (Jr.): Started all 18 games ... Earned program's first IWLCA All-American nod, making the second team after claiming her second-straight All-West/Midwest Region honor ... Was a unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team selection for the second-straight year ... Set single-season program records with 56 goals, 67 points, 107 draw controls and 31 caused turnovers ... Scored five goals, three free-position, and added eight draw controls against Louisville (2/11) ... Registered the first of three six-goal performances (tied a school record) in a win over Central Michigan (2/16) ... Set the all-time career (106) and single-season (81) record for draw controls ... Finished second on the team and eighth in the BIG EAST with 41 goals during the regular season ... Notched a goal and two draw controls in a 11-8 loss against No. 17/17 Johns Hopkins (Feb. 12) ... Tallied a goal and a ground ball in a 11-8 loss to Michigan (Feb. 21) ... Scored a hat-trick in a 15-4 win over California (Feb. 26) ... Dished an assist, grabbed two ground balls and seized four draw controls in a 10-8 loss to Colorado (Feb. 28) ... Snatched two ground balls and controlled four draws in a 11-5 loss to Denver (March 25) ... Scored a goal and handed out an assist in a 17-9 loss to No. 5/6 Notre Dame (March 28) ... Prior to Marquette: Gabriel was a four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Lancaster High School (Lancaster, NY) … Served as team captain as a junior and senior … Was a two-time First Team All-America selection (2014, 2015) … Earned First Team All-Conference each of her four seasons … Prep Talk Player of the Year in 2015 … Led team to the Sectional title each of her four seasons … Holds school record for most career goals (247) and most goals in a season (80) … As a senior, registered 80 goals, 35 assists, 117 ground balls and 133 draw controls.
Personal: Gabriel was born in Syracuse, NY … Daughter of Craig and Cynthia Gabriel … Has three older siblings, including two brothers, Jedidiah and Joshua, and one sister, Esther, who played collegiate lacrosse at Oswego State … Plans to major in business.
