The 2024 campaign will mark the first for Chelsea Davis as an assistant coach wit the Marquette women's soccer program.
Davis will also serve as MU’s recruiting coordinator after two seasons (2022-23) as head coach at Pacific University Oregon.

Davis owns a wealth of experience coaching at both the collegiate and club level. She served as head coach at Palomar College in 2021 before moving to NCAA Division III Pacific University in Oregon for two seasons as head coach (2022-23). Prior to her head coaching role at Pacific, she was assistant coach at University of San Francisco, Fresno State, Academy of Art University and internationally at University of Sydney.Â

Davis’ experience at the club level has included work at elite clubs, including the Sand Diego Surf Soccer Club, where she coached and developed all ECRL age groups.

As a student-athlete, Davis played on three WAC championship teams at Fresno State, scoring five goals as a junior in 2007. She started her playing career at Houston before transferring to Fresno State, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications in 2008. Davis completed her master’s work in multimedia communications at the Academy of Art University in 2013 while working as an assistant coach.

Davis played professionally in Sweden in 2012 with Division 1 Bollstanas and also competed in the WPSL with the San Francisco Nighthawks. She holds a USSF National B License and is continuing progress to an A License.
