The 2024-25 campaign will mark the second season at Marquette for Jayson Wiseman.
Wiseman’s career has included stops as a head coach at several tennis programs including Mount Saint Joseph University (2022-2023) and Eastern Michigan University (2017-2022). At Eastern Michigan University, he led the program to a 51-50 overall record, winning ten or more matches four straight seasons. He coached Eastern Michigan to its longest winning streak in 15 years and the third longest in team history.
Wiseman was also the Head Tennis coach at the University of Evansville. Wiseman set multiple school records, including conference wins in a single season.
Wiseman is a decorated tennis assistant and tennis professional throughout all levels. He coached at Wright State University in the Horizon League. He has led camps at the University of Michigan and Norte Dame. Wiseman was the head coach at Southview high school (2008-2011). He won Coach of the Year in 2009.
Wiseman is a certified Elite Professional with the United States Professional Tennis Association.
Wiseman and his wife Trena have nine children Trena, Carrina, Eva, Alex, Ashton, Amelia, Gemma, Anderson, and Rosie. Wiseman's oldest daughter Trena won an NJCAA National Basketball Championship in 2022 with Owens Community College and his second oldest daughter Carrina plays soccer for Ball St. University.
