Jess Sabey returns to Marquette for her third season in 2020-21, previously serving as assistant coach at NCAA Division II university, Henderson State for the 2017 season where she helped lead the program to its most victories since 2010.

At Marquette she works as the Director of Operations. She's responsible for producing stats using the DataVolley system, managing all team travel and managing team equipment.

Sabey served as the graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for the 2016 season.

A native of Merrill, Wisconsin, Sabey was an outside hitter for the Warhawks from 2012-2016. During her five seasons at UW-Whitewater, Sabey helped to compile a five-year record of 133-44 as both a former outside hitter and graduate assistant, appearing in the NCAA Tournament all five years and advancing to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2016.
