GREEN BAY, Wis. - For the first time this season, Marquette men's soccer has won two matches in a row, dowining Wis.-Green Bay, 3-0. The Golden Eagles improve to 4-5 on the year, while UWGB falls to 3-7.
Marquette dominated the match, outshooting the Phoenix, 21-2 and keeping Green Bay without a shot in the second half.
MU got on the board just after halftime. Junior Derek Gutierrez (Overland Park, Kan.) scored his fifth of the season 52 seconds after the break. Junior Matt Darby (Leawood, Kan.) got his first of two assists of the match on the goal.

The Golden Eagles capped scoring in the 82nd minute when senior Bryan Godfrey (Newburgh, Ind.) scored on a penalty kick.
"We played well all throughout," head coach Steve Adlard said. "We dominated the game in the second half. I'm positive about that."
Despite only taking two shots, both of Green Bay's efforts were on target, forcing junior goalkeeper Adam Ubert (Hartland, Wis.) to make two saves.
