The Marquette women's tennis team returned home after a seven game road string where they lost each match.
The Golden Eagles remained undefeated at home, beating the Northern Illinois Huskies 6-1.
Sophomores Eva Herrera (No. 2 spot), Anabelle Espinosa (No. 3 spot), and Vero Bresino (No. 4) and juniors Anna Pavlovic (No. 5) and Alex Stankovic (No. 6) all won their singles matches. The Golden Eagles hung together in doubles play, taking all three matches.
The team will take a break until March 11 when they take on North Carolina on the road. Marquette is 0-7 on the road, while they are 2-0 at home.
