Women's Tennis Wins at South Florida, 6-1

TAMPA, Fla.- The Marquette women's tennis team came up with possibly its biggest win of the season, upending South Florida, 6-1, in Tampa. Marquette wins its second in a row, improving to 3-11 on the season. South Florida loses for the first time in five matches.
Marquette breezed to wins in the doubles point and continued to play well in singles. MU gave up just four sets in singles play, winning three in straight sets.
Anna Pavlovic came up with the most impressive win at the no. 5 position, defeating Gina Craig, 6-3, 6-1. Michelle Mojzis, Eva Trujillo-Herrera, Veronica Garcia Briseno and Genevieve Charron were also winners in singles for MU.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday, March 22 at Michigan.
