Golden Eagles Fall 6-1 to Chicago

MU secured the doubles point but was shutout in singles play
MILWAUKEE, WIS. - The Marquette University women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Chicago on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles had a strong showing in doubles play using courts one and two to clinch the point. Elena Duva and Maria Poon finished first on court one, defeating Khou and Kintiroglou 6-0. The point was secured on court two with Emma Davis and Elise Barnstedt taking a 6-1 win over Mikos and Zawenah.
On the singles side, Chicago responded quickly securing the match victory picking up six straight set singles victories.

The Golden Eagles will continue play in MU territory as they face SIUE on Saturday at 11 a.m.
