Women's Tennis Falls at Iowa

The Marquette women?s tennis team (3-3) came up short in their bid to knock off Iowa, Saturday in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes raced out to win the doubles point at No. 1 and No. 2, before defaulting in the No. 3 match.
The singles competition mirrored the doubles result, with Iowa taking the top five matches, before defaulting at No. 6.
The Golden Eagles will look to regroup and use a 10-day break from competition to get ready for in-state rival Wisconsin. The home match against the Badgers is slated for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 18.
