Women's Tennis Falls to No. 17 Michigan, 7-0

MILWAUKEE ? Marquette lost to the nation's 17th ranked team 7-0 at Helfaer Tennis Stadium. The loss drops the women's tennis team to 3-9, while Michigan improves to 9-1.
Marquette trailed by two points early after losing the doubles point. A default at the no. 6 spot paced the Wolverines to a two match advantage.
Michigan wasted little time in defeating the Golden Eagles. Francina Bonnelly's loss to Chrissie Nolan (6-0, 6-0) at the no. 4 spot. Dominika Daborski's loss at the no. 5 spot Kara Delicata (6-0, 6-0) clinched the match for Michigan.
In all, Marquette won eight games in singles play.
