Golfers in Sixth at Naples Intercollegiate

FORT MYERS, Fla. ? Marquette University is in sixth place after two rounds at the Lexus Naples Intercollegiate in Fort Myers, Fla.
The Golden Eagles shot a 288 in the first round, the third best total for the first 18. Marquette trailed Portland and Baylor following the first round.
The Golden Eagles shot 291 in the second round, slipping to three-over, 579. Marquette is one shot behind Wisconsin and two strokes behind Illinois. Baylor leads the overall event at five-under, 571.
Portland's Ryan McCabe leads the individual portion of the tournament at eight-under, 136.
Play at the Naples Intercollegiate concludes on Tuesday.
