KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- The Marquette University men's golf team dropped to 11th place following Monday's second round of the 26-team Wendy's Kiawah Classic at the par-71 Turtle Point Golf Course.
Freshman Zach Gaugert continued to pace the Golden Eagles with a second-round 76. Guagert's two-round total of 147 has his tied for 20th place overall after opening with a team low-round even-par 71 on Sunday.
MU shot a combined team score of 309 Monday to follow-up yesterday's 297, which had the Golden Eagles tied for eighth place after the first day of competition.
The three-day tournament concludes Tuesday with the third and final round.
