Ally Miller Repeats as Student-Athlete of the Week

MILWAUKEE - Women's soccer player Ally Miller earns GoMarquette.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors after being named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 20.
Miller was tabbed BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week following her efforts in a 4-0 win over St. Bonaventure on Aug. 17. The senior anchored a defensive unit that allowed two shots, including just one shot on goal. The senior also assisted on the first goal of the match and played 79 minutes.
Miller, the 2012 BIG EAST Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, also earned student-athlete of the week honors last Monday after scoring the game-winner in Marquette's 1-0 exhibition victory against Wisconsin.
The Golden Eagles return to action Friday, Aug. 24 at Valley Fields against Milwaukee at 8:30 p.m. CT.
