
Golfers Close Fall Season at Wendy's Kiawah Classic

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University men's golf team is set to conclude their fall season Nov. 3-5 at the Wendy's Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Course in Kiawah Island, S.C. The tournament, hosted by Charleston Southern, will see 18-holes of action each day on the par-72 course.
MU will send out Adam Chester, Pat Sanchez, Nick Nelson, Henry Klongland and Brandon Cloete. The Golden Eagles are led by freshman standout Henry Klongland who boasts an impressive team best scoring average of 72.58.
The men's golf team rolls into South Carolina after back-to-back tournaments in Wisconsin which included a ninth place finish at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate hosted by Marquette. The Golden Eagles have been out of action since Oct. 8.
Marquette opened up the season tied for third at The 2013 Doc Gimmler as the fall schedule comes to a close this week with MU returning to action in the spring.
