WASHINGTON, D.C. - Diego NÃÆ'Æ'ºÃÆ'Æ'±ez provided an electrifying moment for the Marquette University men's soccer team, tying the game at 1-1 in the 10th minute before 14th-ranked Georgetown scored the game-winner in the 15th minute en route to a BIG EAST Conference victory at Shaw Field Saturday.
About 30 seconds after the Hoyas (7-1-1, 2-1-0 BIG EAST) drew first blood in the ninth minute, NÃÆ'Æ'ºÃÆ'Æ'±ez answered back for the Golden Eagles (1-7-1, 1-2-0 BIG EAST) with his second goal in the last three games.

The junior forward stole a Hoya back pass and beat the BIG EAST Preseason Goalkeeper of the Year, JT Marcinkowski, with a right-footed strike into the left upper 90 to level the game at 1-1.
Georgetown would score the eventual game-winner in the 16th minute. Jacob Montes assisted on both Hoya goals, the first by Ethan Lochner, followed by Declan McCabe.
The Marquette defense tightened up after that, holding the Hoyas scoreless for the final 74-plus minutes. Sophomore Noah Heim, making his first career start in net, made six saves to keep the Golden Eagles in the mix to the very end.
