Marquette Hosts Presbyterian Saturday At 12 p.m. CT

FS Wisconsin To Feature Television Broadcast
The No. 24/rv Marquette University men's basketball team (2-0, 0-0 BIG EAST) returns to Fiserv Forum Saturday afternoon for a 12 p.m. opening tip against Presbyterian (3-1, 0-0 Big South) in non-conference action. FS Wisconsin will feature the television broadcast, with Telly Hughes (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) calling the action. Following Saturday's action, the Golden Eagles will depart for the NIT Season Tip-Off at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
The N7 collection supports Nike's commitment to get kids moving through the N7 Fund, which supports organizations to provide sport and physical activity programming to kids in Native American and Aboriginal communities so that they can lead healthier, happier and more successful lives. Since its inception in 2009, the N7 Fund has awarded $5.6 million in grants to 243 communities and organizations, reaching more than 420,000 youth.
The duo combined for 36 points (18 each) on 13-of-27 shooting from the floor and also chipped in eight rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Joey Hauser has now posted personal bests in scoring in each of the last two games and over the course of those contests has averaged 14.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game while combining to shoot 58.8 percent (10-of-17) from the field.
The Golden Eagles have claimed each of the previous three meetings, most recently an 84-66 decision at the BMO Harris Bradley Center on Dec. 27, 2015.
Marquette is 7-1 all-time against programs currently in the Big South Conference and will face Charleston Southern on Nov. 27.
Akanno averaged 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists as a senior at Valencia (Calif.) High School in 2017-18. The Vikings advanced to the semifinals of the CIF-SS Division 2A playoffs and Akanno was named All-Santa Clara Valley First Team. He is currently attending prep school at Blair Academy in New Jersey this season.
As a junior, Akanno earned Foothill League Co-Player of the Year accolades after averaging a team-best 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in league play. He helped guide his team to a share of the league title in 2016-17.

Hausers Team Up On Offense At Indiana
