MILWAUKEE – Marquette used a full team effort on Tuesday evening at Fiserv Forum to defeat Charleston Southern, 76-55, in its first game back from the Thanksgiving break.
Junior Markus Howard posted 17 points, while the Golden Eagles (5-2) got impressive performances out of newcomers Joseph Chartouny (13 points, six assists, seven steals), Ed Morrow (10 points, seven rebounds) and Brendan Bailey (10 points, five rebounds).
Junior Christian Keeling scored a team-high 18 points, while adding six rebounds, four assists and four steals.
The Golden Eagles resume action at Fiserv Forum at 1:30 p.m. Central time on Saturday against No. 12/10 Kansas State. The game will be broadcast live on FS1.
