Illinois is the team leader after 36 holes at 12-under-par.
After a 3-over-par opening round and a 2-over-par start on his first nine holes of the second round, Kendziorski rallied to go 3-under-par coming in to produce a 1-under-par 71 in the second.
Matthew Bachmann (70-78-148, T-48) carded MU's other sub-par round, notching seven birdies in the first round in a 2-under-par finish.
