MILWAUKEE— The Marquette women's basketball team is set to host No. 10 Mississippi State on Monday, Nov. 25 at the Al McGuire Center. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. CT.
The game will stream live and for free at GoMarquette.com with Patrick Reed and Michelle Wenzel on the call.
The Golden Eagles (4-1) are fresh off a 60-47 victory at Green Bay, which marked the first time since 2007 that Marquette topped the Phoenix in Green Bay and was the second consecutive victory for MU. A stellar defensive effort helped hold the Phoenix to well under their season average in a game that the Golden Eagles never trailed.
Marquette has three players that average double digits this season as Selena Lott leads with 17.8 points per game, while Isabelle Spingola and Lauren Van Kleunen add 11.6 and 11.2 points per game, respectively. On the defensive side Chloe Marotta is pulling down 8.0 rebounds per night as Altia Anderson collects 7.8 boards per game.
UP NEXT: Marquette will travel west for the Thanksgiving holiday and participate in the St. Mary's Tournament with a pair of game against the host Gaels and Tulsa on Nov. 29 and 30.

WHAT THE TEAM IS SAYING:
On winning at Green Bay
"Historically it's so hard for our team to come here and win at Green Bay. I thought our defense tonight was pretty special. We know they are so good inside posting up and if Green Bay hits three's you're kind of in trouble. We tried to use our athleticism a little more and follow the scout and I am just proud of how, when we lost to Northwestern we lost down the stretch and tonight we were able to keep our composure and finish out."
