Golden Eagles looking for first road win of the season
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's lacrosse team will make its first road trip of the season when it travels to Cincinnati on Friday, Feb. 15 for an 11 a.m. Central time matchup.
The game will air live on GoBearcats.com/watch and live stats will also be available on the Cincinnati Athletics website.
Following Friday's game, the Golden Eagles return to Milwaukee to take on Detroit Mercy on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT before seven straight away contests spanning a month.

MARQUETTE (1-1): The Golden Eagles are coming off of their first win of the season against Louisville, 15-12, on Sunday afternoon at Valley Fields. Senior Grace Gabriel made the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll after she rattled off five goals to lead Marquette to its first-ever victory over the Cardinals, while Lindsey Wilcocks and Madison Kane each recorded hat tricks.
Gabriel leads the team in goals (5), draw controls (11) and ground balls (5), while Charlotte McGuire, Madison Kane and Lindsey Willcocks each have three goals so far on the season.
CINCINNATI (1-1): The Bearcats are also fresh off of their first victory of the year after defeating Kent State 19-8. Cincinnati is lead by junior Monico Borzillo who has tallied nine goals, including seven in Sunday's win. She is also the younger sister of Marquette's director of operations, Jackie Borzillo.

Marquette's history with the Bearcats dates back to the program's first-ever BIG EAST win on March 28, 2014, prior to realignment. The Golden Eagles own the all-time series 5-1 and have won each of the last five meetings.
