Women's Tennis Concludes Home Slate This Weekend

The Golden Eagles host St. John's and Seton Hall Friday and Sunday
MILWAUKEE—The Marquette women's tennis team returns home this weekend after a seven-game road swing to host St. John's (9-5) on Friday, April 15 at 4 p.m. CT and Seton Hall (13-5) on Sunday, April 7 at 9 a.m. CT. at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
Marquette (9-9) is coming off a 7-0 win against Butler, with Lesley Foe and Milica Novakovic taking a 6-1 win at the No. 2 position in doubles play. In singles play, Fleur Eggink took a 6-3, 6-3 win at the top position, while Natalija Popovic won at the No. 2 spot, 6-4, 6-2.
The reigning BIG EAST champions St. John's dropped a 4-1 decision to Seton Hall this past weekend, which gave them their first BIG EAST conference loss.
Seton Hall is coming off a 4-1 win over St. John's and a 6-1 win over Sacred Heart last weekend in addition to owning wins against Georgetown, Butler, Providence and Creighton in league action. The Pirates will face Villanova and DePaul before meeting the Golden Eagles
Following the weekend, the Golden Eagles head to Georgetown on April 13 to wrap up their regular season before BIG EAST Tournament play.
