Freshman Tin Krstulovic clinches victory
The Marquette University men's tennis team (2-2) completed a weekend sweep of IUPUI (0-2) on Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 victory at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
The two teams also played Friday night, with Marquette claiming a 6-1 decision.
The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles point, sweeping all three positions.Ā The team then quickly claimed a trio of straight-set singles decisions to claim the team win.Ā Freshman Nikola Kijac ended action on Saturday with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 4.
Also claiming singles wins for Marquette were Luis Heredia Gomez, who was making his 2021 debut, and newcomer Tin Krstulovic at No. 5.
