WSOC hosts NIU on Sunday in final exhibition

The Golden Eagles begin BIG EAST play on March 4th
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University women's soccer team will host an exhibition match against Northern Illinois at 4 p.m. Central time on Sunday, Feb. 21 at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a 1-0 exhibition win on Valentine's Day against Loyola-Chicago in their first exhibition match.
Northern Illinois held an exhibition match of its own last weekend, taking down Chicago State in a 2-0 decision. Marquette also faced the Cougars in their first regular season game of the season, winning 5-0.
The last matchup with Northern Illinois came in Sept. 2019 when MU fell in double overtime, 2-1, to the Huskies.
This will be Marquette's second and final exhibition match of the season before beginning BIG EAST play on March 4 against Creighton.
