WTEN Hits The Road For Pair of Weekend Matches

Golden Eagles to face North Dakota, DePaul
The Marquette University women's tennis team (2-2) continues its 2021 dual-match campaign this weekend with a pair of matchups on the road.
The Golden Eagles will take on North Dakota at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 20 in Homewood, Illinois, before facing DePaul at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 21.
Marquette, which most recently dropped a 5-2 decision at Notre Dame on Feb. 13, is in search of its first road victory of the season. Four newcomers have seen action in singles and doubles early in 2021 and MU is anticipating the return of returnee Natalija Popovic to the singles lineup in the near future.
"This season has been disjointed for a number of reasons, but our team has done a good job of staying focused," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "This weekend provides a great opportunity to compete on the road against a pair of quality opponents.
Following this weekend's action, the Golden Eagles will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 28 when the team hosts Northern Illinois.
