The Marquette University track & field teams wrap up the indoor portion of their 2021 schedule on Friday, Feb. 26 at the BIG EAST Triangular, hosted by DePaul at the Gately Indoor Track & Field Complex.
Field events are set to begin at 5 p.m. CT, with track events following at 6:30 p.m. CT. The Golden Eagles will be competing against the host Blue Demons and Butler.
"We are really looking forward to competing on the new Gately complex and being part of the first collegiate meet held at the facility," head coach Bert Rogers said. "We have had a lot of success this indoor season and though we don't have a BIG EAST indoor championship, we are very much looking forward to wrapping up the season against some BIG EAST competition in DePaul and Butler."
Gately Indoor Track & Field complex is home to the area's first hydraulically banked 200-meter track and features eight sprint lanes, two long and triple jump runways and pits, pole-vault runway and pads, a high jump area and a discus area.
Marquette will be represented by a smaller group this weekend as the team's distance runners focus on the upcoming BIG EAST Cross Country Championships on Friday, March 5 in Cary, N.C., which will be the teams' only competition this season.
