Heredia Gomez picks up second-straight win
The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-5) dropped a 6-1 decision at Notre Dame (9-7) Friday afternoon in non-conference action from South Bend, Ind.

Senior Luis Heredia Gomez was the lone Marquette player to claim a win, defeating UND's xx McCormick 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the No. 2 position. The win was the second-straight for Heredia Gomez.

The Fighting Irish claimed the doubles point with wins at the top two positions to open the match.

The Golden Eagles are right back on the court Saturday morning for a doubleheader against Illinois State at Helfaer Tennis Stadium. First serve is set for 11 a.m. CT.
