
Track and Field Announces 2022 Outdoor Schedule

MU resumes the indoor season Jan. 22 at Lake Michigan Open
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's track and field teams have announced the outdoor schedule for the 2022 season.
Following the conclusion of the indoor season, the Golden Eagles will kick off their 2022 outdoor season with two meets. MU will split the squad and have members competing in the Wash. U Distance Carnival hosted by Washington Univ. St. Louis (Apr.1) and at Illinois State for the Redbird Invite (Apr. 1-2).
Marquette will return home to host their lone home meet of the season in the Marquette Invitational on Apr. 8 at Raabe Stadium.
After their home meet, MU will hit the road again sending part of the team to California to compete in three different meets. Members of the men's and women's teams will be competing in the Bryan Clay Invite & Multi hosted by Azusa Pacific (Apr. 13-15), the Mt. SAC Relays at Mt. San Antonio College (Apr. 14-16), and the Pacific coast Invite at Long Beach State (Apr. 14). Part of the team will be staying closer to home to compete at Wisconsin Lutheran in the Warrior Invite on Apr. 14.
The team will continue the season with four straight meets with the Warhawk Invite at Whitewater (Apr. 22-23), the Drake Relays in Des Moines, IA (Apr. 28-30), the UWW Drake Alternative at Whitewater (Apr. 29), and the Badger Invite in Madison (May 6). This will lead the squad into the BIG EAST Championships in Connecticut on May 13-14.
MU will have one more meet, the Gregory Invite (May 18-19), before the NCAA Prelims in Fayetteville, AR on May 25-28. The NCAA Championships will be hosted by Oregon on June 8-11.
