Marquette Completes First Round at Milwaukee Country Club

RIVER HILLS, Wisconsin – The Marquette University men's golf team sits tied for fourth place at 3-over par (283) through one round of play in the Marquette Intercollegiate at Milwaukee Country Club. Second round action was suspended due to darkness and will resume tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. and will continue into the final round.

Tyler Leach and Bhoom Sima-Aree had the low rounds for the Golden Eagles in round one both finishing 1-under (69). Through 16 holes of play in the second round, Sima-Aree is tied for third at even-par. Leach sits tied for eighth place at 1-over through 17 holes in the second round.

During second round play, Nicolás Evangelio recorded the only eagle of the tournament on the par-5 No. 3. Evangelio is even-par through 15 holes in his second round and 2-over for the tournament.

Playing as an individual, Patrick Adler recorded three birdies on the round and finished even par for the first round. Through 15 holes, Adler is 3-over in his second round and the tournament.
