Marquette continues four-game homestand
The Marquette University men's basketball team (6-2, 0-0 BIG EAST) continues its four-game homestand on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 3:30 p.m. CT when the squad hosts Wisconsin (5-2, 0-0 Big Ten) at Fiserv Forum. FS1 features the national television broadcast, with Jeff Levering (play-by-play) and Stephen Bardo (analyst) calling the action. Following Saturday's outing, the Golden Eagles will wrap-up the homestand against NC Central on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Series With Badgers Dates Back To 1917
MU's all-time series with Wisconsin dates back to 1917, with the first meeting coming in MU's second season of competition.
Wisconsin owns a 69-59 edge in the previous matchups, with each squad enjoying an extended run of success at various points in the series. Marquette's best streak came between 1969 and 1984 when the team claimed 15-straight wins and 19-of-21 overall.
Marquette has claimed three of the most recent five outings, including both of the previous matchups at Fiserv Forum. The 23rd-ranked Badgers earned an 89-76 win at the Kohl Center last season, with Oso Ighodaro chipping in 11 points and five rebounds.
MU has met only DePaul more times (131) than Wisconsin in program history.
Marquette Claims Historic Top-10 Win
The Golden Eagles posted a 96-70 win over No. 6/10 Baylor on Tuesday night, the program's third-largest win over a top-10 program in school history.
The 26-point victory was MU's largest win since knocking off No. 7 St. John's. 78-50, on Jan. 30, 1965. The win was the program's 125th over a top-25 team (7-6 under Shaka Smart), 21st over a top-six squad and 50th over a top-10 school.

Prosper, Kam Jones, Joplin Carry Scoring Load
Against No. 6/10 Baylor Tuesday night, the trio of Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Kam Jones and David Joplin accounted for 63 of the team's 96 points (third-highest total under Shaka Smart).
Prosper led the way with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Jones netted a career-best 20 points thanks to a 4-of-7 effort from behind the 3-point line. After not reaching double figures in his previous three games, Joplin accounted for 19 points in just 20 minutes of action off the bench.
Kolek Leads Marquette's Season Of Giving
Through games of Nov. 30, guard Tyler Kolek is ranked first in the BIG EAST and second in the nation in assists per game (8.3).
Kolek has dished out eight-or-more helpers in 6-of-8 contests and has reached his career-high of 11 assists on three occasions, most recently against Baylor on Nov. 29. Forward Oso Ighodaro is also ranked among the league leaders (15th, 3.3 apg.) and the team is eighth in the country through games of Nov. 30 at 19.6 assists per game.
Jones Starting To Take Advantage Of Charity
In nearly 600 minutes of action last season over the course of 31 appearances, guard Kam Jones made just 18 total trips to the free throw line.
Through the first eight outings in 2022-23, Jones is already 12-of-14 from the charity stripe and has already made more free throws than he did all of last season.
