All-Time Series Dates Back To 1922-23
  Â
Marquette's all-time series against Creighton spans nearly the entirety of the program's 104-year history. Â
  Â
The Golden Eagles own a 56-37 advantage in the all-time series, but the Bluejays have claimed four of the last five outings.
  Â
Prior to 2013-14, when the Bluejays joined the BIG EAST, the most recent meeting between the two programs came in the 1998 National Invitation Tournament. Â MU posted an 80-68 victory in the opening round at the Bradley Center en route to an appearance in the event's quarterfinals.
  Â
Creighton earned a 75-69 win in double overtime in the first meeting this season on New Years Day. Â Forward Oso Ighodaro led Marquette with a career-best 22 points, but a 3-pointer at the buzzer in the first overtime by CU's Alex O'Connell extended the game and the Bluejays pulled away for the win.
Jones Provides Bench Scoring Spark In WinÂ
  Â
Freshman guard Kam Jones netted 17 of his personal-best 19 points in the first half of Wednesday night's win over Georgetown.
  Â
The Memphis native finished 7-of-12 from the field overall, including a 5-of-10 effort from behind the 3-point line. Â He also chipped in two rebounds and a pair of assists in just 17 minutes of action.
