Popovic, Ferdman claim singles wins for MU
The Marquette University women's tennis team (3-4) dropped a 5-2 non-conference decision at Indiana (5-2) Sunday afternoon.
Natalija Popovic and Elizabeth Ferdman both picked up singles wins, but it wasn't enough to secure the team victory. Popovic posted a straight-set win at No. 1 and Ferdman prevailed in a tiebreaker at the No. 4 spot.
UP NEXT: Marquette continues its two-match road swing on Friday, Feb. 11 when the team travels to Northern Illinois. First serve is set for 1 p.m. CT.
