MILWAUKEE - Marquette University men's lacrosse fell to No. 16 Michigan, 12-10, on Tuesday afternoon at Valley Fields.
Freshmen Nolan Rappis and Bobby O'Grady led the Golden Eagles (1-3) with hat tricks, while Chris Kirschner added a pair of goals.
Michael Allieri made a career-high 14 saves in cage for MU and Luke Williams totaled 12 faceoff wins and a game-high eight ground balls.
The Wolverines (6-0) were paced by Michael Boehm's three goals and three assists, with Josh Zawada totaling two goals and four helpers. Shane Carr stopped nine shots between the pipes, and Nick Rowlett contributed 13 faceoff wins.
