MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's lacrosse team fell to Villanova, 10-8, on Saturday afternoon in its final home game of the regular season.

Bobby O'Grady paced the Golden Eagles (4-9, 2-2 BIG EAST) with two goals and one assist. Luke Blanc and Jake Stegman each added two goals, and Pierce Washburn finished with one goal and one assist.

Netminder Michael Allieri finished with 17 saves, while Luke Williams picked up a game-high nine ground balls and went 11-for-20 on face-offs.

Luke Keating led the Wildcats (8-4, 3-1 BIG EAST) with five goals and three assists. Patrick Daly chipped in two goals, and Will Vitton made 17 saves between the pipes.

- Prior to the game, departing seniors Aaron Joseph, Garrett Moya, Jordan Schmid, Jett Leonard-Bedier, Thomas Washington, Jack Devine, Trevor Peay, Holden Patterson, Jacob Hallam, James Amorosana, Patrick English, Dan Shay, Quintin Arnett, Anthony Courcelle, Moey Lardy, Mitch Salanty, Noah Lindner and Kyle McNeil were honored during a pregame ceremony.
- With Saturday's performance, Allieri has now recorded double-digit saves in 11 of 13 games this season, including a 26-save performance against Georgetown on April 16, a Marquette record.
- Defenseman Zach Granger was back in action for the first time since March 1 and caused three turnovers and picked up two ground balls.
- After trailing 4-1 in the first, MU went on to score four unanswered goals to retake the lead. Washburn started the rally and Stegman, O'Grady and Blanc followed with goals of their own.
- The Golden Eagles found themselves down 6-5 at the break after Villanova broke a 5-5 tie with 4:50 remaining in the second quarter.
