MILWAUKEE – The No. 25 Marquette University women's volleyball team heads down Interstate 94 to face DePaul on Wednesday evening at McGrath-Phillips Arena in Chicago.
First serve in Lincoln Park is slated for 7 p.m. Central time and the match airs live on FloSports with Scott Sudikoff (play-by-play) and Noah Coffman on the call. Live statistics are available through StatBroadcast.
The contest begins MU's final four-match road swing of the season, which continues Sunday at No. 17 Creighton, Marquette's 10th match this season against an opponent currently ranked in the AVCA Coaches' Poll.

MARQUETTE (15-8, 11-1 BIG EAST)
- The Golden Eagles are back in the AVCA Top 25 Poll for the first time since the second week of the season. MU was in the receiving votes section each of the last seven weeks.
- Marquette is currently alone atop the BIG EAST Conference standings at 11-1. Creighton and St. John's are both one game behind the Golden Eagles at 10-2. Creighton hosts DePaul on Friday before welcoming MU to Omaha on Sunday afternoon.
- The Golden Eagles are hitting a BIG EAST-best .292 in conference play and are limiting opponents to .133 through 12 matches (second-best in the league behind Creighton (.109)).
- In conference matches, MU averages 2.46 blocks, 1.77 service aces and 16.52 digs per set. All three marks rank among the league's top three in their respective categories.
- Graduate libero Sarah Kushner earned her third weekly honor of the season on Monday with BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll recognition for her play in sweeps of Providence and UConn last week. She averaged a league-best 5.83 digs per set in the two victories.
- Junior outside hitter Jenna Reitsma paced the MU offense against the Friars and Huskies by hitting a combined .328 with 4.33 kills and 3.00 digs per set. She hit a season-best .444 (13-1-27) on Friday against PC.
- Outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton leads MU this season with 315 kills (3.80 per set) on .287 hitting. She's an All-BIG EAST Preseason Team selection and has earned five BIG EAST weekly honors this fall.
- Marquette has won at a 75.0 percent clip (218-72) since joining the BIG EAST in 2005 and is 133-28 (.826) in BIG EAST matches under head coach Ryan Theis.
- MU is 94-13 (.879) in BIG EAST play over the last seven seasons (2017-23) under Theis, including consecutive regular season league titles in 2021 (16-2) and 2022 (17-1).
- MU played one of the nation's 10 toughest nonconference schedules according to the Massey Ratings.
- MU has 10 matches this season against teams currently ranked in the AVCA Coaches Poll (No. 2 Wisconsin, No. 6 Pitt, No. 7 Oregon, No. 11 Tennessee, No. 14 Kansas, No. 17 Creighton (twice), No. 18 Dayton, No. 19 Purdue and No. 23 Western Kentucky.
- The Blue Demons have won three of their last four matches with wins over Xavier, UConn and Providence in four sets.
- Outside hitter Jill Pressly leads the Blue Demons with 369 kills (4.61 per set) on .212 hitting and 248 digs (3.10 per set). She leads the BIG EAST in both kills and points (5.09) per set.
- Libero Rachel Krasowski averages a BIG EAST-best 5.24 digs per set and DePaul is second in the league in digs per set (16.28) behind Creighton.
- Freshman Meghan Scholz from Tomahawk, Wisconsin is third in the BIG EAST with 81 total blocks (1.05 per set) and DePaul averages a league-high 2.36 blocks per set as a team.
- Head coach Marie Zidek is in her sixth season at DePaul.
- Marquette is 42-29 all-time against the Blue Demons in a series that began in 1982.
- The Golden Eagles have won 25 consecutive meetings dating back to the 2009 campaign. MU's last loss to DePaul was a five-set defeat on Nov. 1, 2008 in Chicago.
- Since both teams joined the BIG EAST Conference for the 2005 campaign, MU has won 28 of 29 matches.
