Golden Eagles travel to Wisconsin on Saturday
MILWAUKEE- The No. 3/3 Marquette University men's basketball team (6-1, 0-0 BIG EAST) defeated Southern (1-6, 0-0 SWAC) on Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum.
Guard Tyler Kolek led the Golden Eagles with 16 points and became a member of the 1,000 point club. Kolek shot 4-of -5 from three, one shy of his career high.
MU had four other players finish the game with double figures as well. 7 of the 15 players that entered the game recorded a steal tonight including Zaide Lowery who had a career-high of two.
