The Golden Eagles will open dual play on the road at Minnesota
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's tennis team has announced its dual schedule for the spring of 2024. Â

The Golden Eagles will open the 2024 campaign on Saturday, Jan. 20 against Minnesota, first serve is set for noon CT.
The Blue & Gold return five seniors, Sarah Badawi, Lara Kaiser, Emilija Kojcic, Andie Weise and Tiana Windbuchler, in addition to sophomore Emma Davis. Purdue transfer Emma-Jane Barclay and Missouri State transfer Tiera Jarmond also join the squad this season.
"We have a very challenging schedule, as we always do, but we schedule quality opponents for the growth of our players for conference play and the BIG EAST Tournament," Director of Tennis Jud Shaufler said. "Our biggest goal is to have our team peaking at the right time, and we'll need our returners to show leadership and fortitude throughout the entire season."
The Golden Eagles host their first home match on Friday, Feb. 16 against Omaha.

The Golden Eagles will take on their first BIG EAST opponent at DePaul on March 8.

In March the squad will participate in the USTA Spring Break Tennis event in Orlando, where it will take on Marist, Navy, and Hampton.

Marquette will honor its senior class on March 23, prior to the first serve against Georgetown. Â

Marquette will play 2024 home matches at North Shore - Elite Sports Club due to renovations to Helfaer Tennis Stadium, which is set to be complete by the end of 2024.Â
