Final meet before the new year for MU

CHICAGO – The Marquette track and field teams travel to Chicago for the Blue Demon Holiday Invite on Friday, Dec. 8 for the second meet of the 2023-24 indoor season. This will be the final meet for MU before the new year.

The Golden Eagles began the 2023-24 indoor campaign last Friday at the Blue and Gold Invite in South Bend. Three joined top-10 lists for MU and 20 freshmen made their debut in South Bend.

Marquette will be competing alongside DePaul, Chicago State, Illinois-Chicago, Loyola Chicago, Purdue Northwest, and UW-Milwaukee.

Field events start at 2 p.m. Central time with the women's weight throw, men's and women's high jump, and men's and women's long jump.

Track events begin with the women's 60m hurdles at 5 p.m. Central time.
