Golden Eagles close SBT on five-match win streak
ORLANDO, Fla. - The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-10) extends five-match win streak with 4-3 victory over Niagara (3-9) Friday afternoon, at USTA National campus.
MU fell short of winning the doubles point after Niagara took the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 positions, giving the Purple Eagles a 1-0 advantage going into singles play.
Senior Stefan Dragovic earned a straight-set victory at the No. 1 position, giving him a four-match winning streak.
Freshmen Thomas Nelson and Blake Roegner also took singles wins at No. 4 and No. 5.
Ian Brady earned a straight-set win at No. 6, (6-2, 6-1).
