MU opens weekend at Creighton
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-10) will travel to Omaha, Nebraska to take on BIG EAST foe Creighton (9-4) and Nebraska – Omaha (10-8).
MU comes into the match vs. Creighton on a five-match win streak. Freshman Thomas Nelson is currently on a six singles match win streak, including having two match clinching wins. Senior Stefan Dragovic is also on a four-match singles win streak at the No. 1 spot.
Creighton University Matchup:
The first serve vs. Creighton is slated for 7:00 pm CT.
The two programs have completed 11 times in past seasons, Marquette holds control of the all-time series with 11 wins. In 2021-22 MU took the match 6-1 at home.
Nebraska – Omaha Matchup:
The Golden Eagles and Mavericks will square off at 6:00 pm CT at Millard North High School.
Nebraska – Omaha has taken the last three matches over MU in the all-time series totaling to a 3-1 record with MU only taking the first match between the two programs.
