Golden Eagles continue conference portion of schedule

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's tennis team (6-10) will take on BIG EAST opponent St. John's (11-6) on Thursday, April 6 at Elite Sports Club – River Glen.

The Golden Eagles come into Thursday's match against the Red Storm after taking a narrow 4-3 decision over Nebraska – Omaha. Senior Elisabeth Desmarais was able to clinch the team's decision at the No. 2 spot with a straight set (7-6, 6-3) victory over Keegan VanPelt.

St. John's Matchup:

The first serve vs. St. John's is slated for 2:00 pm CT.

The all-time series between the programs are split evenly with both sharing four wins each. The Red Storm took the victory last season when the two schools squared off in Queens.
